Our first week of summer school has come to a close, and what a fantastic start it has been. With a mix of hands-on learning, creative exploration, and outdoor fun, the students jumped right into an exciting summer program.
One of the highlights of the week was our water play day. Armed with water balloons and water guns, the students enjoyed cooling off under the sun while playing games and laughing with friends. It was a great way to beat the heat and build teamwork and cooperation.
In the kitchen, our young chefs rolled up their sleeves and learned how to make a simple and delicious treat called Graham Cracker Balls. The cooking class gave students the chance to follow a recipe, measure ingredients, and enjoy the rewards of their hard work. Best of all, they got to take some home to share.
Our 3D Design class sparked imagination and creativity as students began designing their very own 3D printed objects. From custom keychains to miniature models, each student brought their ideas to life using easy-to-learn design software. The excitement on their faces when they saw their designs being printed was unforgettable.
Week one has set a positive tone for the rest of the program. We are proud of our students for their energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm. We look forward to seeing what they create, explore, and accomplish in the weeks ahead!
