AIS Osaka does not sponsor student visas or assist with visa applications.

AIS Osaka is a day school and does not offer boarding facilities. All students must live full-time in Japan with at least one parent or legally appointed guardian.

We do not offer scholarships or financial aid.

A student may be admitted into Grade 11 after completing Grade 10 at another school without the requirement of having completed the IB curriculum, however, grade placement is not determined solely by the student's grade at their previous school. Please contact us for further information.

Students may transfer into the DP up until the end of the first term of Grade 11.

Credits earned at a previous school that follows a different curriculum cannot be transferred as IB credits.

After acceptance, we hold a pre-enrolment orientation where students and families can discuss individual arrangements for catching up on missed learning.

Yes. Japanese ab initio is available for beginners.

Applicants entering Grade 11 require a minimum of CEFR B2 proficiency (equivalent to IELTS 5.5+, TOEFL iBT 72+, or Cambridge FCE B2). Language readiness is evaluated during the admissions assessment.
