Our students recently visited the Osaka Aquarium as part of our Sharing the Planet unit, exploring the central idea that our actions affect life on Earth. During the visit, students observed a wide variety of marine animals and learned about different ocean ecosystems from around the world. They were especially interested in how pollution, climate change, and human activity impact sea life. Through thoughtful discussions and careful observation, students reflected on the responsibility we share in protecting our planet. The excursion inspired many meaningful questions and helped students make real-world connections to their classroom learning about conservation and sustainability.
