G4 ATC Disaster Prevention Center

Grade 4 visited Abeno Taskul, a disaster preparedness center. The students learned how to prepare and  stay safe during different types of emergencies. Through hands-on simulations, the students practiced what to do during earthquakes in places such as elevators and kitchens. They also learned how to use a fire extinguisher and how to evacuate safely in the event of a fire. Students were also taught about tsunami safety strategies with the key message “faster, farther, higher”. Grade 4 were highly engaged during this impactful field trip and reflected on their experience both at the center and back at school.
