Yesterday, our school came alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of Japan during our annual Japanese Culture Festival. This vibrant event was led by our dedicated Japanese faculty—Ms. Yoko, Ms. Azusa, and Ms. Lily—whose passion and hard work brought the celebration to life.
They were supported by a number of enthusiastic MYP students who helped design and prepare many of the event’s activities and props. From traditional decorations to interactive cultural booths, the students played a vital role in making the festival a success.
Guests were also treated to a delicious selection of traditional Japanese sweets, including Minazuki, Ajisai Mochi, and Yomogi Shiratama An-Pan. These seasonal treats added a flavorful touch to the day’s festivities.
The celebration featured student performances, engaging cultural games, and lively music—all coming together to honor and share the beauty of Japanese culture with our school community. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to this unforgettable event!
