AIS Family Picnic 2025 – A Joyful Start to the School Year!

We kicked off the new school year with one of our favorite community traditions – the Abroad International School Family Picnic! It was a beautiful day filled with sunshine, laughter, and the kind of energy that reminds us why we love being part of the AIS family.

Held every year at the start of the academic calendar, the Family Picnic is a chance for students, parents, and teachers to come together in a relaxed setting, enjoy good food, and build connections beyond the classroom. Whether it was reconnecting with familiar faces or meeting new families, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of positive vibes.

A highlight of this year’s picnic was the PTA-organized quiz game, which was a big hit with both students and parents. The quiz featured fun and clever questions prepared by our faculty—some that tested students’ knowledge, and others that had everyone guessing and laughing. It was a great way to see our students engage in a little friendly competition while showcasing just how much they’ve already picked up this year.

Of course, no AIS Family Picnic would be complete without our legendary tug o’ war! Students, parents, and even a few brave teachers gave it their all, cheering each other on and ending the day with huge smiles (and maybe a few sore arms).

A huge thank you to the PTA and everyone who helped make this event a success. We’re so grateful for this incredible community and excited for everything the new school year has in store.
