We held a Japanese Culture Day on June 28, 2024.
This year's theme was Ennichi (Japanese summer festival). Students participated in this event wearing Japanese-related costumes such as Yukata and Jinbei.
From nursery to MYP students, everyone enjoyed the Bon Odori dance with the local volunteers, mikoshi, and traditional Japanese games. During lunch time, primary and middle school students enjoyed the food stalls. This year, with the cooperation of local store staff, we sold ice cream, takosen (octopus crackers), bread and dango. Some middle school students contributed to the school by working as sales staff.
Thanks to parents, local people, and others, this year's Japanese Culture Day was a wonderful and unforgettable event. We look forward to next year!
